Pripyatsky National Park is situated in Gomel Region, in the south of the Republic of Belarus. It takes its name from the Pripyat River which flows on its territory. It\’s also famous for its numerous turf swamps. Nowadays the total area of the Park is about 190 000 hectares. The Park is inhabited by various birds and animals, such as bears, elks, wolves, red deer, owls, eagles and badgers. This unique natural reserve attracts a lot of tourists and nature lovers. It can be truly called cultural and natural heritage of Belarus.
